"I moved to Australia with limited English and not much else. I built everything from scratch. Not because I had it all figured out, but because standing still was never an option."

I'm a senior software engineer based on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia, with a Computer Science degree from PUCRS and over a decade of hands-on experience across the full development life cycle. I'm language-agnostic, quick to learn, and comfortable in both backend systems and modern frontends.

I've built government-scale platforms that helped channel economic stimulus across Australia during and beyond the pandemic. I've shipped SaaS products, marketplace engines, payment integrations, and simulation models. I solve hard problems: algorithms, performance tuning, system design, and I enjoy mentoring the people around me along the way.

Outside of code: Grêmio FBPA is my club and the blue runs deep. Yerba mate is a daily ritual. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu keeps me sharp. Football is a lifelong obsession.

Experience

What I've built

AI integration and automation

I've built LLM features that generate context-aware messages, classify incoming text, and summarise transcriptions. The work includes structured responses, content filtering, background jobs, and handling model failures. Getting a useful answer is only part of it; the surrounding system has to behave predictably too.

SaaS from onboarding to payments

I've built subscription software with booking, recurring billing, member self-service, automated follow-ups, and reporting. Laravel and Vue.js do much of the heavy lifting, with payment integrations and multilingual interfaces connecting the details.

Tools for working with coding agents

I built a local desktop app and CLI to manage parallel coding-agent sessions. It brings isolated Git worktrees, terminals, task status, and review workflows into one place. Built with Electron, React, TypeScript, and SQLite, and shaped by how I actually work.

How I Work

Principles, not processes

01

Clean code is a discipline

I write code for the next person who reads it. Which usually includes me, six months later, wondering what I was thinking. Readability over cleverness, every time.

02

Deterministic by default

If I can make something impossible rather than unlikely, I will. Constraints in the data model beat validation in the app layer. I'd rather the system won't let you break it than hope you don't.

03

Performance is a feature

I've shipped systems where an entire state hits the button at the same time. You find out what performant really means. Every query, every cache miss, every payload. Fast systems aren't lucky. They're earned.

04

Fail loudly, recover cleanly

I'd rather a system crash visibly than silently corrupt data. Errors should be expected, surfaced, and recoverable. Silent failures are how you lose trust at 3am.

05

Test it or it doesn't work

I've been the one debugging production because someone skipped the tests. A solid test suite isn't overhead. It's what lets you refactor with confidence and deploy without crossed fingers.

06

Polyglot by necessity

I don't collect languages. I learn them when the problem demands it. PHP, Go, Python, TypeScript. Each one is a tool with a purpose, not a trophy.

Languages

PHP and TypeScript daily. Go for performance-sensitive work. Python for experiments and simulations.

Web

Laravel is home. Vue and React for interfaces, with Nuxt and Inertia connecting the pieces.

Desktop & CLI

Electron when the product belongs on the desktop. Terminals and isolated worktrees for parallel tasks.

Data & infrastructure

MySQL for applications, SQLite for local tools, Redis for queues and caching. Docker and AWS for delivery.
